The goal of this project is to provide parents with an opportunity to learn how to identify, access, and support their children with literacy learning technologies in the home.

After completing an online survey, you will attend a parent conference appointment. We will meet with you to learn about your child’s literacy and technology learning. This conference will help us design the next workshop.
phase two. workshop on technology tools.

This workshop will give you information and resources to use technology in your home according to the needs and goals that you described to us at the parent conference. At this workshop we will help you use technology and match it to your child’s needs.
phase three. on-going help with technology.
During the month of April 2018 we hope that you will use the technology at home with your child. We would like to help you with any questions or concerns that you have. We will be available by email or phone (your choice) to help. There will also be an on-line “Question and Answer” site to go to for you to post your questions and read what other parents are asking about.

This is a time to share your experiences with the technology resources. We will ask you if you would like to tell us or show us about what you and your child have learned from the workshop and on-going help. We will provide a summary of ideas for you to use at home during the summer.
