This page contains fifteen recommended apps to support inquiry in early years classrooms based on the results, interest, and child preferences from the Crayons and iPads research study. There is also an interactive PDF guide available for download by tapping or clicking on the "AI" button below.
This interactive PDF is best used in the iBooks app on an iPad, but it can also be used on any PDF reader. To add this guide to iBooks, following these steps: (1) visit this page on your iPad and (2) tap the "AI" button. A new page will load and (3) tap the "download" button. The PDF will load in Safari. (4) At the top of the screen just below the toolbar tap the "Open in iBooks" text prompt. If you do not see this prompt, you may have to tap your screen for it to appear.
