This blog, by K-12 educator Craig Badura, features "App Task Challenges" for teachers.  Accompanying each "App Challenge" is easy to follow directions for the creation of a kid/teacher friendly product with an app.

This website, by educational technologist Tanya Avrith, contains information on creating digital portfolios for children of any age (preschool-grade 12) as well as information on iPad basics, digital citizenship, iOS skills, and assessment.

This Candian website, EdApps.ca, focuses on using educational apps and mobile devices (iPads) to support inquiry learning.  EdApps shares personal experiences, insights, and practices.  This website's domain is currently under renewal and is temporarily unavailable.

This is an informational blog focusing on practical and meaningful implementation of technology in the classroom, such as iPads and Web 2.0 tools (wikispaces, social media, etc.) using actual classroom examples. There are also useful resources for both students and teachers.

This website contains recommendations (from the St. Oliver Plunkett Primary School) for 36 iPad apps teachers can use to support inquiry learning in the classroom.  The list of apps is divided into both teacher facilitated and student centered apps.

This UK blog focuses on mobile technology in educational environments. It contains recommendations for apps in preschool and kindergarten environments.  Though the blog is international, many of the apps are available in the both the Canadian and US App Stores.
